NEW MUSIC UP NOW FROM WAR OF AGES & WRENCH IN THE WORKS
War Of Ages just posted "Sleep Of Prisoners" on their myspace page from the new album "Arise And Conquer" that hits stores next Tuesday! Wrench In The Works has also posted a brand new song from their upcoming album "Lost Art Of Heaping Coal". The song is titled "Tonight Is War" and the album hits stores on August 19th. Check back shortly for pre-order and tour announcements for Wrench In The Works and prepare for one of the most aggressive albums of the year!

FACEDOWN RECORDS AT SONSHINE FESTIVAL NEXT WEEKEND
First off, thank you to everyone who came out to Cornerstone this past week and made it an amazing time for all of our bands! Cornerstone is always a highlight and this year was no exception. Next week we will be bringing the Facedown Family to Sonshine Festival in Willmar, MN. We will have a Facedown table set up for the entire event so stop by, say hi and pick up some stuff. We'll have tons of merch as well as really cheap CDs, DVDs, freebies and more! Here's a schedule of when the Facedown bands are playing:

MY EPIC POST A BRAND NEW SONG FROM "I AM UNDONE"
My Epic just posted a brand new song from their upcoming full length "I Am Undone". The song is titled "The Oil Press" and it's streaming on their myspace page now. "I Am Undone" will be released on August 5 on Dreamt Music / Facedown. Look for My Epic playing at Cornerstone Festival next week.

War Of Ages have just posted the song "Through The Flames" on their myspace. This is the first single from the band's upcoming album "Arise And Conquer" that will hit stores on July 22. The band has been playing and will continue to play "Through The Flames" on this summer's Scream The Prayer tour, so learn it and sing along at the shows and festivals this summer! The debut album from Take It Back! is in stores now. It's available at most all Hot Topic stores for only $9.99 so make sure to pick one up there. It's also available at all Hastings + Virgin stores and select FYE and Best Buy stores. Our favorite indie stores have it as well like: Newbury Comics, Zia, Rasputins, Gray Whale, Angelos, Dimple and many more. You can also pick it up through iTunes or in our online store. In other Take It Back! news, they have been added to the Facedown Night at Cornerstone Festival this year - Thursday, July 3 on the Underground Stage. Kingston Falls had to cancel so Take It Back! is now opening the night up for us at 6:00PM. Make sure you are there!

FACEDOWN WELCOMES CALL TO PRESERVE TO THE FAMILY
We are happy to announce the signing of Florida's Call To Preserve to Facedown Records. They have released their debut album "Unsinkable" on our imprint label Strike First Records and after touring and working hard over the past years, it's an honor to be releasing this upcoming album on Facedown. The new album will be recorded in July at The Outpost in Stoughton, MA with engineer Jim Siegel (Dropkick Murphys, Blood For Blood, Give Up The Ghost) and will be titled "From Isolation". Guitarist Harbor Partin commented on the title and lyrical content: "We've written about being in places in life where we feel we're at our lowest and don't know why. The times when our faults are getting the best of us are the times we learn who we really are. It's when we're broken and humble that we're able to see the full extent of grace." Look for "From Isolation" to be released in Fall '08. In the meantime you can check out a couple of pre-production tracks from the upcoming album on the bands myspace page.

WAR OF AGES POST A CLIP FROM THEIR NEW ALBUM
War Of Ages just posted a short clip from a song titled "Sleep Of Prisoners" that will be on their upcoming new albume "Arise And Conquer" that is due in stores on July 22. Head over to the band's myspace and check it out. The album was produced by Tim Lambesis from As I Lay Dying and it came out incredible! War Of Ages will be on the "Scream The Prayer" tour all summer and headlining the Facedown Night @ Cornerstone Festival.

Our very own Sleeping Giant, War Of Ages and Impending Doom are on this tour along with 8 other great bands, so you do not want to miss out. SEVENTH STAR ANNOUNCE FINAL SHOWS IN GERMANY & UKRAINE
From Drew of Seventh Star:
"We will be playing two final shows this summer. July 31st @ Freakstock Fest in Gotha, Germany and August 2nd @ Total Armageddon Fest in Sudak City, Ukraine. We got the offer to play these shows after scheduling our last US show at Facedown Fest and since we never got to go back to Europe after our 2006 tour we jumped at the chance. Needless to say, we are extremely excited about this. It's pretty crazy to think that the last time Seventh Star will play will be in the Ukraine. We'd like to thank everyone at TA fest and Freakstock for giving us this opportunity and look forward to seeing all our Euro friends this summer!"
