Facedown Records

More Than Sound is a program that we run here at Facedown Records to help the needy in our world. (If you would like to read more about the program, click here ) We wanted to take a moment to share with you about the impact that was made in 2011 through your generosity and support. A portion of all online store orders are donated each month to featured needs. On top of that, people can also give towards the needs directly if they feel led to.

$1,000 – Purchasing and installing 100 insecticide treated mosquito nets (Blog Link)

$1,000 – Tires for the Hope Again Medical center van
$1,175 – Treatment of leprosy through Action Ministry in Msambweni, Kenya
$570 – Irrigation system and agricultural training through Bringing Hope To The Family (Blog Link)
$250 – Medical treatment for Katie’s cancer (Blog Link)
$190 – Blankets for the Home Again Orphanage
$650 – Bibles and Pastoral supplies for Pastors who could not afford them (Blog Link)
$300 – Medical treatment for Ronald’s cancer
$500 – Bibles for students
$3,650 – New House for widow with 5 children (Blog Link)
$340 – Graph books for students
$500 – Furnishings for Blessed Camp Primary School
$500 – Towards the digging of a shallow well in Kyenjojo, Uganda
$160 – Plastic chairs for the Blessed Camp Primary School
$600 – Food expenses at the Home Again Orphanage

$1,050 – Donated to other organizations (Machina house & Old School Cafe)

$15,035.00 – Total Donated in 2011

$12,028 of this was donated by Facedown and the remaining $3,007 was donated through individuals directly. 100% of the money donated went directly to the actual need it was given to so you can take great joy in the work that was done with the money that was given.

We don’t want to boast in anything of our own doing. We want God to get the glory for the work He is doing through these amazing organizations. We are thankful and humbled to be a part of it and to be able to share this information with you.
